The MV awards provide young volunteers between the ages of 16-25 with the opportunity to gain official recognition for their voluntary work .

MV Award certificates are presented when volunteers have completed 50 and 100 hours of volunteering and at 200 hours there is an Award of Excellence signed personally by the First Minister no less! As well as recognising achievements and contribution, the MV Award is a valuable addition to any CV!

The MV Awards are:    free         - To both the organisation and the volunteer

simple     - The Youth Development Worker will support both                                                                  the organisation and volunteer with any paperwork

flexible     - Participants have up to 2 years to complete the                                                                  hours and are not restricted to one organisation.
